Patricia Ann Elkins, 60, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, in Winston Salem Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, North Carolina.


Born December 2, 1943, in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Frank Elkins and Ruby West Elkins of Marion, Virginia, she was a member of First United Methodist Church. A graduate of Marion Senior High School and National Business College, Roanoke, Virginia, she worked for 25 years for the Blue Ridge Job Corp.


In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Patricia Elkins of Boston, Massachusetts, one aunt, Hallie Griffen of Cary, North Carolina and several cousins and many special friends.


Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at 2 pm at Seaver Chapel with the Rev Buddy Miller, the Rev John Graham, and Pastor Rick Shuler officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia.


The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 2 pm at Seaver Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Food and Fellowship Program at First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Virginia 24354.
