Hunter Christian Fyfe was born September 23, 1997, in Colorado Springs, Colorado and entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty (Wetherington), and Billy Fyfe, and Hattie (Wheeler ) Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his maternal grandparents, Nadine and Robert (Bob) Thompson; Hunter's parents, Jeffrey Dean Fyfe and Connie (Thompson) Fyfe, three older brothers, Colton Evan Fyfe, Brian Eugene Thompson, Corey Dean Fyfe; and younger sister, Alyssa Renee Fyfe, his siblings' spouses and significant others, a large extended family, co-workers, and a host of friends.

He graduated from Parkway High School, where he excelled in the Robotics and Engineering Club. He put himself through school at Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College, where he received a degree in welding. He recently received a Private Investigator certificate through LSUS.

Hunter was a driven young man with an incredible work ethic. As a high schooler, he revolutionized the workplace as a crew chief at Sonic. Since then, he has worked as an ironworker and welder, and was an employee at MENCO Constructors Inc. His skill in these professions took him across the country, including Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas, as a lead on these architectural projects. He also worked on the railroad and in oil and gas exploration.

Hunter was a gifted artist with an extraordinary talent for combining his engineering, mechanical, and technical skills into beautiful and functional pieces. He often made his friends and family furniture and decor such as lamps, book ends, tables, and some pieces too unique to fit into any categorization. He was a self-taught tattoo artist, and recently accepted an apprenticeship with a local shop. He was skilled in woodworking, painting, drawing, and often made metal sculptures from recycled materials. The range of his talent and the depth of his creative vision were awe-inspiring to all blessed enough to witness his mind at work.

Hunter had many other passions, as well. He was a talented mechanic and an accomplished fisherman who also enjoyed kayaking and camping. He was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music.

Hunter was a shining light that radiated love. He was someone who protected others, lifted the weight off their shoulders, and gave everything he had to give. His kindness and humorous wit knew no bounds, and he could enter a room and make everybody laugh. He had an indescribable talent for making others feel appreciated. He was a deeply beloved son, grandson, brother, and nephew, and also a fiercely loyal friend. Above all else, he was "just a saucy guy."

He was a gift to this world, with a personality that was larger than life. He spread warmth, joy, and inspiration to all those lucky enough to know his heart. He will be profoundly missed, and his friends and family will continue celebrating his precious memories for all time.
