Larrylee J. Cartwright, 84, Green Bay, passed away Friday morning, January 12, 2024, at a local care facility. Born June 24, 1939, in Gladstone, MI, he is the son of the late Jesse James and Delia (La Palme) Cartwright. Larry married Joan Casey on March 11, 1967, and renewed their vows on May 4, 1985 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. He was a faithful employee of Leicht Transfer and Storage, serving for 31 years before his retirement. Larry was dedicate to his faith and was a long-time, active member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, serving as an usher and as a past-president of the Saint Vincent DePaul Society, Council #13. Larry was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, pitching horseshoes and shooting pistols and rifles as a member of the De Pere Sportsman's Club. Most importantly, Larry will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandpa. 

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan; five children, Anthony Robinson, Kentucky, William Robinson, Shawano, James (Marla) Robinson, Green Bay, Lori (Richard) Gruber, Francis Creek, and Jesse James (Karen) Cartwright II, New Franken; six grandchildren, Eric, Felicha, Amanda, Adam, Jenny, and Tyler and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Genevieve Richard, Sturgeon Bay; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Virgiline Deiter.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday, January 19, 2024, from 1:30pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 3pm, Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Memorial Park, Wells, MI. 

The family extends a special thank you to the caring staffs at Autumn's Promise and Preceptor Hospice, and also to Dan DeBauche.
