Gordon D. Agens, 55, died on Wednesday, June 6, at home.
Born in Newton, N.J., he lived in Netcong, N.J. and Stanhope, N.J., before moving to Cresco 20 years ago.
He was employed as a civil engineer with the Stanhope Department of Public Works for 20 years, before retiring in 1991.
He served with the New Jersey National Guard during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 11, at the Morgan Funeral Home, 31-33 Main St., Netcong, NJ 07857. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
