Norman K. Weaver, age 86, of Hudson, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 29th 2023, at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte, NC. 

Born in Columbus Ohio on August 29, 1937, Norm was a son of the late Earl Weaver and Mary Mae Weaver. He graduated from Central High School where he was a member of the National Honors Society and the Varsity Baseball Team. At age 18 he married his high school sweetheart Shirley Eichenberger. Norm and Shirley were married for 68 years and had three sons. 

Norm joined the US Army out of high school before a long successful career in the footwear industry. He worked at Brown Shoe Company (Buster Brown Division) from 1957 until 1988. In 1988 Norm became the President of the National Shoe Travelers Association and served in that role until 1993. In 1993 Norm and Shirley moved to Florida where Norm began a second career in the home health care industry. He worked as a director for BayCare Homecare from 1996 until retiring in 2013.  

He is survived by his three sons, Chris (Nicki) Weaver of Big Sky, MT., Scott (Kim) Weaver of Fort Mill, SC and Chad (Melanie) Weaver of Greensboro, NC., Grandson's Austin (Holly), Cody (Lexy), Christian, Jackson, Matthew and Great Grandson Rhett Weaver.

Norm is also survived by his sister Gail Wisby, brother Sam Weaver as well as many nieces and nephews. 

The family will be holding "A Celebration of Life" for Norm at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio at the Riverside Global Methodist Church on Zollinger Road.
