Mrs. Roberson died May 1, 2008, in Kaufman.
She was born Feb. 27, 1923, to the late Colie Abner and Artie Mae Hicks Adair in Temple, Okla. She was a 1940 graduate of Edgewood High School and Draughn's Business School. She worked as editor of the Edgewood Enterprise, where she wrote a column called Liz's Chit Chat, retiring after 37 years. Some of her writings were published in the Reader's Digest. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Roberson.
Survivors include a son, Raymond "Rob" Roberson, Terrell; daughters, Sharon Wilkinson, Wharton, Diana Inge, Fort Worth; three grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
Family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
