ISAAC (DELL) KIRK DIES AT BAXTER SPRINGS HOME
Baxter Springs, May 10.---Isaac F. (Dell) Kirk, 69 years old, a miner and farmer, died at 1:30 o.clock this afternoon at his home, 534 West Twelfth street, after an illness of two years.
Mr. Kirk is well known through-out the district. He came here 15 years ago from Duenweg. He was born September 30, 1874, at Springfield, Mo. He was a member of the Apostolic church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Kirk; his father, C. M. Kirk of Zincville; two daughters, Mrs Belva Goodman of California and Mrs Thurman Plilier of Baxter Springs; a foster son, Walter Smith of Baxter; three sisters, Mrs. O. E. Love of California, Mrs. Andrew Christensen of Washington and Mrs. Lillie Means of Aurora; three brothers, Clyde Kirk of California, Albert Kirk of Lowell and Fred Kirk of Hecter, Ark., and three grandchildren, Richard and Martha Lue Plilier of Baxter Springs and Kathleen Collier of California.
Time and date of the funeral services are incomplete, but it was announced that they would be hied at the Twenty-first Street Apostolic church here with the Rev. Walter Michner and the Rev. J. L. Whittaker officiating. Burial, under direction of the Hoskins funeral home, will be in the Lowell Cemetery.
