Stafford man collapses, died
A Stafford man died at Hutchinson Hospital at 1:35 p.m. Thursday after he collapsed on a downtown street, a nursing supervisor said Thursday.
Roy Mather, Stafford, died after efforts to revive him failed, she said.
The case of death was unknown Thursday night, she said.

Stafford - Roy Mather, 78, died Thursday at Hutchinson. Born May 17, 1900 at Leesburg, he was a retired farmer and lived here all his life.
Survivors include brother: Marion, Stafford.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Peacock-Milton Funeral Chapel, Stafford; C.N. Richardson. Burial in Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the chapel.
