Margaret was the daughter of Nathaniel Parker and Lucretia Penny Parker. The Parkers were some of the earliest settlers of Sumner County, Tennessee. She was the first wife of the Rev. Luke Palmer Allen, a Methodist Circuit Rider. Her burial site is unknown, but possibly Allen County, KY where at least one researcher says she died, or in Sumner County, TN, according to another. (In my opinion, if she is buried in Sumner County, Bethpage seems likely, since that is where other Parkers and her husband are buried, though Luke her husband is buried with his second wife)---see photographs with information. Margaret died three days following the birth of her last daughter, Eunice. ----info by Terry Martin, descendant of Eunice
