L. Dee Collinsworth a homemaker died Friday at a Richland Hills nursing home She was 101 Graveside service will be at 11 am Monday in Frankford Cemetery in Addison. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm today at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.

Mrs. Collinsworth was born in Ranger and had lived in Colleyville for 45 years. She was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Grapevine and a 50-year member and charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star Haltom City Chapter 982. Mrs Collinsworth was commissioned as a Yellow Rose of Texas on her 100th birthday by Gov. Ann Richards. Her husband Bill Collinsworth died in 1938.

The family requests that memorials be made to the building fund of the First Baptist Church 301 E. Texas Grapevine 76051

Survivors: Three daughters: Susie Pierce and Evelyn Grube both of Colleyville and Laura Allen of Grapevine; son: Elmer Sparkman of Las Vegas Nev.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
