T. H. Harris Dead
Was Prominent Citizen of the County and Member of Court of County Commissioners
T. H. Harris, a prominent citizen of the county and member of the Court of County Commissioners, died at his home near Lineville Tuesday after a short illness. He had typhoid fever and was thought to be getting along well and on the road to recovery, when he suddenly took a turn for the worse and died in a short while. His death was quite a shock to his relatives and friends, many of whom were not aware that his condition was in any way serious.
Mr. Harris was a progressive citizen and farmer and his business judgment and experience made him a most useful and appreciated member of the Commissioners Court where his faithful services will be sadly missed.
Funeral services were held at Macedonia church Thursday morning and were attended by a large congregation. The deceased leaves a wife and several children.
