John A. Roberts, 80, died about 6:30p.m. Wednesday in the Schwarz nursing home at Delta. He had been a patient there since April 10.
Mr. Roberts, a resident of Cedar Mesa since 1929, was a retired farmer. He was a member of Eckert Masonic Lodge 36, Cedaredge.
He was born April 15, 1885. His wife, the former Mabel Belle Silvey, whom he married at Arnett, Okla., Nov. 2, 1913, died Feb. 3, 1961.
A son, John Logan Roberts of Denver, is his only survivor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Roberts Funeral Home at Delta. The Masonic lodge will conduct graveside rites in Cedaredge Cemetery.
