Robey Frank Dahl

"Papa", our most beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away August 16th 2023 from complications due to Parkinson's and Stroke.

Robey was born September 26th 1938 in Park City, Utah to Lamar and Hazel Dahl.

The family later moved to Murray, Utah where he attended Murray High School, graduating in 1956.

Robey met the love of his life, Bonnie, in the high school band where he played trumpet and she played clarinet. Robey was so very proud to serve his country in the Army National Guard when he and Bonnie were first married. Robey worked many jobs, including running the Blue Dot Drive In which holds many fond memories for his beloved daughters. Robey worked for Dal Tile for many years, retiring from managing the Orem, UT warehouse.

Robey's greatest passion in life was his sweetheart Bonnie, his daughters and his grandkids. His girls were the pride of his life. He was such an amazing, nurturing, loving father. His girls fondly remember him making their lunches which always included love notes, and many special, sweet, loving surprises through the years. Robey had an amazing sense of humor, right up until the end. Everyone who knew him loved him. He spent his last 7 years at Cedarwood of Sandy and was loved by everyone there. His family is so very grateful for the staff at this amazing facility for taking such good care of him. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of many at Cedarwood. The family would like to express a very heartfelt thank you to his "angel on earth", his nurse Jen from Canyon Hospice, who took care of him for the past 2 years. Also to the wonderful aids from Canyon, his buddy Mikey and Kathleen and so many more for taking such sweet care of him. There are no words to express our thanks to all you did for our sweet dad and Papa.

Robey was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, his parents, and 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Susan Lupus, Sherrie (Rick) Senese; grandchildren, Bradshaw (Chelsea Loveridge) Sisneros, Derek (Maddie Wilson) Lupus, Brandon (Madi Bowles) Lupus, Lexi (Austin) Thayne, Nic Senese; sisters Arine Petrovich, Penny (Chuck) Mann; one brother Dennis Dahl and many many friends.

Robey loved a good party, so we will be celebrating his life at an open house on Sunday, September 24th from 2-5 pm at Club 90 in Sandy, 9065 S Monroe Street (21 and older). In honor of his love for the University of Utah Utes and his country, please come dressed in U of U red or patriotic colors.
