Robert Clark Pompella Sr., 64, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a short illness.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roy Ford and Loy Moon officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Pompella was born July 22, 1923, at Seattle, Wash. he was a retired employee of Dillard's Department Store, a former employee of Texarkana Barber & Beauty Supply, a Baptist and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie McDonald Pompella of Texarkana; one son, Robert C. Pompella Jr. of Wake Village, Texas, and one sister, Tynne Kennedy of Newport, Ore.
The family will be at the family residence on Eylau Loop Road.
