Worked as a mechanic, janitor, Taxidermist, Metal-work Fabrication. Made Bar-B-Que pits, Deer Hunter's stands, jewelry. Carpenter work. Liked to play music, and played these instruments. French Horn, Accordian, Piano. Went to school in Westpoint, along w/ Alma his future wife. He had a dry sense of humor, he was sometimes hard to understand (accent)...like to tell the dogs "Here Boy" and could drag "boy" a mile out. He was a handsome man, who obviously knew he was goodlooking, from the look in some of the photos, he had that swagger thing going on.

1ST INFANTRY. SERVED IN EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN THEATER. AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART, 5 BATTLE STARS, GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL, PRE-PEARL HARBOR VICTORY AND ARMY OF OCCUPATION RIBBONS. WOUNDED IN ITALY IN 1943 AND AFRICA IN 1944.
