Mrs. Will T Springs
Loris - Mrs. Verda Blackburn Springs, 80, widow of Will T. Springs, died at a local nursing home Saturday.
She had been in declining health for some time. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00PM at First Baptist Church by Rev. Lester Branham and Rev. Robert Lee Turner. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery directed by Hardwick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Springs was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Charlie Bradley and Nancy Powell Blackburn.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Daughters of America.
Pallbearers will be Carl Rogers,, Edward Suggs, Henslee Hardee, Arthur Hardee, D.A. Harrelson, and F.C. Gause Jr. The body will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the services.
