Macy Michelle McChesney, age 26 of Austin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 27th. Macy was born September 6, 1982 in Cuero, Texas to Gerald and Brenda Boles McChesney. Macy was a 2001 graduate of Westwood High School where she played on two district champion varsity soccer teams. She also was a talented artist and won an outstanding art student award for a piece on ecology. Macy loved music and the company of her friends and family who adored her. Her friends and family will remember her for her style, her natural beauty, her smile, her wit, and her hilarious storytelling. Macy was preceded in death by her mother Brenda Boles McChesney, her maternal grandparents Richard and Jolene Pryor Boles, and her paternal grandfather Paul McChesney, all of Cuero. Macy is survived by her father, Gerald McChesney and stepmother, Rachel McChesney; brother, Matthew McChesney; twin sister, Megan McChesney; sister, Kelly McChesney; and girlfriend, Connie Menefee of Austin, TX; grandmother, Katherine McChesney; aunt, Melissa McChesney of Cuero, TX; uncles, Paul McChesney, Jr. of Lubbock, TX; and Patrick McChesney of Victoria, TX. Family will receive friends at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX on Thursday, May 1st from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Graveside services and burial in a family plot will be held in Lindenau, Texas, Friday 2nd at 1 o'clock. The Rev. Stephen Byrne of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Cuero will officiate.
