Services for Lillie Mae Brooks, 89, of Greenwood, who died of heart failure Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at Greenwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker. A native of Carroll County, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church near Duck Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Young Brooks; her parents, Louisa Bailey and John Williamson; and nine siblings.

She is survived by a son, Kelly Brooks of Greenwood; one brother, George Yancy Williamson of Grenada; two grandchildren, Missy Brooks Elam of Madison and Joey Brooks of Greenwood; and two great-grandchildren, John Walker Brooks of Greenwood and Beth Anne Brooks of Seattle, Wash.

The Rev. Billy Little and the Rev. Lavon Hatten will officiate at the services.

Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the services today at the funeral home.
