Hice Rumbarger died on Tuesday Nov. 16, 1948, in a sanitorium in Mahurst, Ohio where he was a patient for about 11 months. He was born on December 22, 1898, in West. Monterey, a son of Miles and Emma (Barger) Rumbarger.
Prior to his illness Mr. Rumbarger was employed by National Tube Co. in Lorain, Ohio.
He is survived by a son and a daughter, James L. Rumbarger and Mrs. Carrie Shea, both of Kittanning, and a grandson. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Albert & Charles, both of Kittanning, and Crawford of Beaver Falls.
Friends will be received in the Rhodes Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W. R. Morgan of the First Baptist Church at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon.
Hice died of tuberculosis.
