Joel M Iris, 68 of 1013 1/2 Second Street SE died at home Monday, He was born Feb 28, 1896 in Linn County. The family formerly lived in Springville moving to Cedar Rapids about 10 years ago. Surviving in addition to his wife are 7 daughters Mrs William Dushugh, Mrs LeRoy Johnson, Mrs Mary Jane McDonald, Mrs Leonard Fox and Virginia Irish all of Cedar Rapids; Mrs Rudy Pringle of Belle Plaine and Mrs Dean Schirm, Shellsburg. Also 6 sons, Robert, Max, George and Dennis of Cedar Rapids; Joe of Mason City and Robert of Ft Dodge; 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded him in death. Services: Hunts Funeral Home, Springville. Burial: Springville Cem.
