Mr. Majors was born August 26, 1938, in Pierce City, the son of George Washington and Mae Garrett Majors. He was a Navy veteran and worked at R. T. W. for 36 years.
His wife, Lois Ruth Majors, preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, James Majors of Garfield, Arkansas; three daughters, Jeanie Taylor and Brenda Loftin, both of Rogers, Arkansas, and Jamie Barber of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas; two brothers, Charles Majors of Monett and George Majors of Enid, Oklahoma; one sister, Lavonne Stanley of Monett; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Liberty Cemetery in Garfield, Arkansas, with David Barber officiating under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, May 1, at the funeral home.
