Dr. James C. Brewner died last week (April 2, 1967) in Clearview Hospital, Evansville, Vanderburg, IN.
He was a son of James Andrew Brewner of Kentucky and Ella Crabtree Roark born October 20, 1891.
He married: Ruby Beatrice Woolridge on October 5, 1914. They had two children; James Marvin and Edna Fae. He married Florence Mae Wright in August 8, 1924.
He enlisted Aug 19, 1917 in St Louis and was attached to D 1, No. 1, Camp Dodge, IA. Discharged Dec 11, 1918, Camp Dodge and is a WWI veteran. He practiced dentistry for 40 years at Pulaski Road and Chicago Avenue and had lived in recent years in Eldorado, Il.
Surviving are a son James M. Brewner an employee of The Tribune, Three daughters Mrs. Betty Quick, Mrs. Mary (Harry) Yeager, Mrs. Harry Mitchell, Sisters Gertrude Pierce, Mrs. Fannie Pierce, Mrs. Ben Dempsey.
Services were held in Eldorado, Il. Burial was in Cottage Grove, Eldorado, IL.
