Mrs. Gray was born April 3, 1926, in Lakeview, Texas, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Essie Mae (Haney) Bufkin. She and Francis Marion "Frank" Gray were married March 4, 1946 in Palo Pinto, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1997.
Wyolene owned and operated the Beauty Patch in Olney and Throckmorton for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She moved to Olney from Throckmorton in 1959.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Don Whitsitt in 1972 and a granddaughter, Lauren Harris in 1989.
At time of death she was survived by three daughters, Donna Dixon of Olney, Texas, Frankie Foster and husband Kenneth of Breckenridge, Texas and Lou Harris and husband Paul of Olney, Texas; nine grandchildren, Debra Kimbro, Tamera Felz, Jason Whitsitt, Talley Dixon, Rhonda Manning, Renee Petty, Christy Story, Captain Paul Harris, II, and Chad Harris.
