James L. Gamble Dies Tues 3 p m.

Funeral Services for James L. Gamble, Mexia man who died Tuesday afternoon at 3PM at his home on East Titus Street after an extended illness were held at the Riddle Chapel, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 PM with Rev. Grady Metcalf and Rev. D. M. Gatlin in charge. Internment was held in the Forest Glade cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his wife and five children: Mrs. A. M. Rencher, Mexia; Mrs H. M. York, Bowie; Mrs. Aline Ellen, Houston; Mrs Alfred Curtis, Salome Springs, Ark,; and James L. Gamble, Jr., and one brother Moses Gamble of Mexia, and two sisters, Mrs. Mandy McKenzie and Mrs. J C Berger, both of Mexia.

JL Riddle & Co was in charge.
