Albert L. Alatorre, 64, of 1700 N 33rd Street, died Tuesday in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Whirlpool Corp. where he was a machine operator. A member of the Catholic church, he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a veteran of World War II.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Fentress Mortuary chapel. Mass will be said at 1 p.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be at U.S. National Cemetery (Fort Smith).
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia; two daughters, Judie Allen of Muldrow and Guy Henry of Fort Smith; two sons, Chris and Terry, both of San Francisco, California; his father, Joe of Des moines, Iowa; two sisters, Joann Chapel of Des Moines, Iowa and Kay Buckridge of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts; two brothers, Dennis Alatorre of Des Moines and Raymond of Minnesota; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be T.J. Morgan, Danny, Mike, Jerry and Tony Seibold, and Ray Cornell.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
