Myrtle Elizabeth Adams Drago, 78 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Friday, June 21, 1929, in New Orleans, Louisiana, daughter of the late Warren Adams and Mabel L. Brown Adams. Mrs. Drago was the former owner of Cheryl's Fashions, and owner and broker of Realty Sales. She retired from South Central Bell after 33 years of service.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Jerry Drago; son, Jerry Drago Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Jean Drago; 4 grandchildren, Jason Keith Drago, Amy Rachelle Allen, Bridget L. Glassman, and Charles Michael Reed; 4 great-grandchildren, Jordan Drago, Emily Drago, Olivia Allen, and Hugh Allen; and a brother, Phillip Adams.

She is preceded in death by brothers, David Matthew Adams, Ralph Adams and Warren Julius Adams; and a sister, Mildred A. Carroll.

Arrangements entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Billie Kennedy officiating. Interment in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond.
