..After marriage, they resided one year at King City, CA where Lloyd worked at Hearst's Castle and then returned to Fredericksburg, IA to take over the KLOTZ Family Farm three miles East of the town.

In 1976, they moved to a new home North of Decorah, IA and wintered in McAllen, TX.

Their travels included England, Scotland, Germany, Norway, New Zealand and Australia.
