Obituary - January 29, 1977

"EARL MONROE GRANT
Earl Monroe Grant, 219 13th St., Sharpsville, died at 8 p.m. Saturday (1-29-77) in Shenango Valley Osteopathic Hospital, Farrell, following a one-week illness. He was 78.
Mr. Grant was born in Bethel, Hickory Twp. (now Hermitage), May 28, 1898, to James Bernard and Rachel Kidd Grant.
He made his home in Sharpsville for the past 60 years.
Before his retirement, he was employed as a machinist at Wein United, Youngstown.
He was a member of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a former deacon of the church.
His wife, the former Goldie Mae Orr, died July 7, 1975.
Surviving are three sons, Earl Delroy, Las Vegas, Nev.; the Rev. David James Grant, North Dartmouth, Mass., and the Rev. Harry Paul Grant at home.
Five sisters and a brother preceded him in death."
