I found a pension file and it was filed in 1926 & 1930.

From the 4/29/1933 newspaper...
Rites for Guy M Babcock 54 years old, postmaster at DeNoya, Oklahoma. Who died at his home there Thursay morning, will be held fromthe Street & Dreaper Funeral Home Saturday.
Babcock once one of Theodor Roosevelt's famous "Rough Riders" is survived by his wife, two sons E.M. & G.W. Babcock. Three daughters Mrs Thelma Guinn, Mrs Beatrice Gray & Mrs Marguerite Moore.
