Harry Leslie Noland was the son of Frances Campell and Edgar Noland. His sister was Myrtle "Evelyn" Noland Gillmor. They were raised in Saguache County, Colorado.
Harry was a lawyer, attending Standford University for his bachelor's and, then his law degree (1927). He moved to Salinas, California and was an Assistant District Attorney for Monterey County, then founded the law firm of Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss.
He married Eva Christine Carlson (b. 1906) on July 11, 1932, and they had two daughters: Patricia (Inderbitzen) and Cynthia (Siegfried).
At his request, no services held. Cremation held at Garden of Memories with scattering of ashes in Monterey Bay
