According to Georgia Deaths, 1928-1943, Death Certificate provided the following: Emma Huff was the daughter of Wesley Wright and Jennie (Maiden name appears to be Rony with the rest of the word after Ro being illegible. The name could be Virginia "Jennie" Rolfe to whom her father was married but divorced before 1880). Sam Huff was the informant listed on the death certificate. His relationship was not given. Age given as 61 which would place her birth in 1875-76 however, the 1880 census gives the age of 17 with an estimated birth year of 1863. The 1930 Census gives her age as 63 with an estimated birth year of 1867 and widowed. Birth and death places provided by certificate. Mrs. Huff was married. Worked as a housekeeper. Race given as Colored (African American). Burial was on 06/14/36 in Smith Hill Cemetery. Talboton Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Also in the 1930 Census several grandchildren are listed in the household including George Hill, memorial #256996360, who is also buried in the Smith Hill Cemetery.
