Cora Anne Trogdon Turner (Mrs. R.L. Turner), 81, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.
Burial will follow in Lawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Turner was born on June 23, 1923 to the late Jim and Lula Trogdon.
She was a charter member of First Presbyterian Church in Eden. She served her husbands churches faithfully as needed in positions such as organist, pianist and adult Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Turner was a member of the Rockingham County Historical Society, the Rockingham County Home Extension Association and the Naturalist Club.
She was a former secretary with Fieldcrest Mills and secretary to the Public Relations Director at Methodist College before retiring from the U.S. Postal Service.
