Betty J. Maza, 825 South Hanover St., Nanticoke, died yesterday morning at Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, where she was a patient since December 17.
Born June 18, 1924, at Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Grace Hoffman Sadowski.
She formerly worked at Retreat State Hospital, Hunlock Creek and Embryville State Hospital, Embryville.
She was a member of the ladies auxiliary for Nanticoke American Legion Post 350 and St. Johns Luthern Evangelical Church, State St. Nanticoke.
Funeral will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Stanley Stegura Funeral Home, 614 Hanover St. Nanticoke. Rev Sanuel R. Zeiser, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate.
Interment will be in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township.
