Amber Michelle Hardy, 10, of LeBleu Settlement, LA died at 6:29 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2008.
Amber was born August 9, 1997 in Lafayette, LA and lived all of her life in Iowa/LeBleu Settlement. She was a 5th grade student at LeBleu Settlement Elementary School, where she was on the Honor Roll. She was also a member of the Library Club and played basketball. Because of her great love for animals, and especially her rabbits, she was very active with 4-H. Amber was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was an altar server and sang in the choir. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She was a loving wonderful girl, who always had a smile on her face. She loved her family and will be missed by all.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Iowa. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
