29 Jan 1998, Herman, Married his 2nd wife Lucille (Nelson) Owens in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Survived by his two sons, wife, Lucille (Nelson) Owens, three grandsons, two step-children, Robert and Michele and a step-grandson.

He was a graduate of Portland High School, a law degree from Columbus School of Law, Washington, D.C., Served in the US Navy on the USS Langley and USS New Mexico. 19 yrs. as security director General Telephone Co. of Pennsylvania. 27 yr. Career retiring from the FBI as special agent, 32nd degree Mason-Shriner. Member of Brackett Memorial United Methodist Church.
