Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Geneva E. Day, 90, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Causey Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Day, a retired nurse and member of First Baptist Church, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Morehouse General Hospital, Bastrop, LA.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Reed and husband Donald C. of Crossett, AR; son Jerry B. Day and wife Ann of Longmont, CO; sister, Jean Carey of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Buddy Tubbs of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Timothy Day, Angela Wisecarver, Mike Reed; four great grandchildren, Courtney Day, Timothy Day, Aliza Reed, Brooke Wisecarver and several special nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Day was preceded in death her husband Bonner B. Day, brother, Barney L. Tubbs; two sisters, Nell Watson and Marie Allen.
