Lawrence Thompson accorded his the full-blood Indian tribal rites, and interment was directed in the Delaware Indian Cemetery northwest of Dewey by the Arnold Moore Funeral service. His casket escorts included Virgil Culver, Willie Mendoza, Dale Dobbs, Jake Wade, Harold Thompson and Dan Trotter.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary C Falleaf, of the home in Caney; three sons, Numerous LaVerne Falleaf, Copan; William Ardell Falleaf, Tulsa; and John Nelson Falleaf, Coffeyville, Ks; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Dean (Mary Helen) Wilkie, Parkville, Mo; 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 grandchildren.
