LEE NORAGON PASSES AWAY AT HOME IN AUBURN

 

Lee Noragon, once a resident of Angola, and until his sickness a year ago an employee of the Auburn foundry, died Friday evening in his home as a result of cancer. For a month Mr. Noragon had been bedfast.

 

The deceased was born a short distance southeast of Hamilton fifty-three years ago in August and until his marriage to Florence Sprague always resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Noragon on the farm near Hamilton. For some years after his marriage Mr. Noragon lived at Angola and five years ago the family, moved to Auburn where Mr. Noragon secured employment at the foundry.

 

Surviving are the widow, a son, Kenneth Noragon, living near Metz, in Steuben county, four step-children, Marshal Sprague residing at home, Orval and Ivan Sprague of Auburn and Mrs. Edith Good of Avilla, three brothers, Adren and Clyde Noragon of Angola, and Bert Noragon of Hamilton, a sister, Mrs. Cora Nelson of near Crooked Lake in Steuben county and a granddaughter, Gladys Sprague who has lived in the Noragon home since she was two years old.

 

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock from the Dilgard funeral home Rev. Lloyd Barton, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Burial was made in the cemetery at Hamilton.
