Mrs. Ruth E. Motley, 64 years old, lifetime resident of Route 2, Alma, Arkansas, died in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital about 5 p.m. Tuesday aftr a short illness.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Mrs. Motley is survived by her husband, James; nine daughters; two sons; three sisters, Mary, Belle and Mrs. B. Wines; 26 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements had not been made until later. She is buried in Gill Cemetery.
