Ann Julia (Pichie) Anderson, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Clifford Anderson. Born in Pascoag, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. Pichie Sr. and Anna V. (Collins) Pichie.
She was a former communicant of St. Agnes Church in Providence and previously St. Edward Church also in Providence.
During her children's elementary school years, she was employed at the Veazie Street Elementary School where she worked in the lunch program. She subsequently worked in the insurance industry, primarily at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as an assistant in the Claims Department until her retirement.
Ann had a special place in her heart for her husband's American Legion Post #1, where she was heavily involved in assisting with clerical duties and overall support from 1986 until her passing.
Above all, Ann's first love and greatest passion was her family; often hosting parties, celebrations, and holidays at her home. She has been a devoted wife, mom, sister, and "Babcia" and her family is grateful beyond words for her love and care all their lives. While they are saddened that Ann will no longer be with them, she will live on in their hearts and memories forever.
