Rockport - Verl Jarmin of Rockport, Washington passed away September 10, 2022 after a short and courageous battle with Leukemia. He was born September 26, 1941 in Stanley, North Dakota to Ray and Dorothy Jarmin.


He married Lou Forsman in 1969 and together they had one daughter, Julie whom he loved with all his heart. At a young age, he started taking Julie with him everywhere and she quickly became a daddy's girl.


Verl loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with friends and family. He was a loving father and loyal friend.


He leaves behind his daughter, Julie and son-in-law, Dan Clements of Sedro-Woolley; stepdaughter, Lori Siefferman of Mountain Home, ID; his partner, Violet Johnson of Rockport.


He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 29 years, Lou Jarmin (1999); sister, Delma Nelles (2004); brother, Ray Jarmin (2022).


Verl was lucky enough to find love a second time with Violet. Together they lived life to its fullest extent and never took it for granted. Not only did Violet bring great joy to his life, but her family did as well. They welcomed him into their lives with open arms.


At his request there will be no services. Donations can made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
