Staton Pfost, brother of Mrs. John Hudson, is very low with neuralgia of the heart, and there is but little hope of his recovery. He is at the Hudson home, five miles northwest of Meridian. Mr. Pfost came to this section from California some tie ago with his wife, and has been employed in photographic view work. He is a cousin of Isaac Pfost.

DEATH AT MERIDIAN
MERIDIAN, Dec. 14.--Stanton Pfost, who has been ill at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Hudson, five miles northwest of Meridian, died Wednesday forenoon, and the funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the South M. E. Church, in Meridian, with burial in the I. O. O. F. cemetery. Deceased was 61 years old, and was one of the early settlers in this section, coming here 20 years ago.
