He was born August 7, 1918 in Johnstown, PA to Frank Mabon and Catherine Kelly. He married Dixie Mabon on February 6, 1948. William served in the military for 28 years. He served in both China and Germany during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie E. Mabon and son, Michael Mabon. He was preceded in death by son, Patrick K. Mabon and daughter, Patricia Mabon.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane (5000 So.), Holladay, UT. Visitation at 10:30 a.m.
Interment: Utah Veteran's Memorial Park Cemetery.
