John U. Bueche, 81, of Edinburg died about 3 a.m. today at the Bartholomew county hospital. He was a former employee of the Amos-Thompson corporation at Edinburg.
A Shelby county native, he had been in ill health several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mutz funeral home in Edinburg with burial at Rest Haven cemetery there. The Rev. William Schuermann and the Rev. Raymond Brown will read the rites. Persons may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 19, 1882, the son of George and Elizabeth Daum Bueche. He married the former Miss Emma Henderson, who preceded him in death. On April 5, 1953, he married Mrs. Myrtle Simpson, who survives.
He was a member of the Edinburg Christian church and the Moose lodge of Columbus.
Surviving also are four brothers, William and Walter Bueche, both of Edinburg, and Peter and Fred Bueche, both of Taylorsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Long of Edinburg route 2 and Mrs. Bertha Zeigler of Taylorsville.
