Elizabeth Breckinridge Watts was born in 1822, the daughter of Gen. Edward Watts and Elizabeth Breckinridge. She married Thomas Lewis Preston.

Elizabeth died 21 Feb 1843 at the age of 21 and was buried in the Watts Family Cemetery in Roanoke County, Virginia. In Nov 1977 her grave was moved to Fair View Cemetery.
