Mr. Deao was married to Lola Mae Moore at Fairfield on Feb. 12, 1941.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Gene Niece, Hillsboro and Lena Sue Deao, at home; brother Arthur Deao, Lockridge; half-brother Earl Deao, Osceola, and 3 grandchildren.
Joint Services for Edward and Lola will be held at the Hillsboro Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Levi Winfrey officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Ed Deao and his wife were killed Monday when their car was struck by a Burlington railroad freight train, 6 miles east of Fairfield on a county road crossing.
