MELVIN L. HOLMES
SANDERSVILLE - Funeral services for Melvin L. Holmes, 58, of Atlanta, who died unexpectedly Friday night in Atlanta, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Jackson Baptist Church near Sandersville.
Rev. Jack Ayers will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
A druggist, Holmes formerly worked at the L.A. Thomas Drug Co. He was born in Washington County.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Mansour; one sister, Mrs. Frank Hutcheson of Warner Robins; one brother, Carroll Homes of Greenville, S.C. ; two nieces and three nephews.
