Theresa (Phaneuf) Hayward, 92, of East Hartford, passed away on October 22, 2023.
Theresa was the daughter of the late Peter and Phyllis (Kaminski) Phaneuf of Manchester, she graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1949.
Theresa worked as a supervisor at Bank of America, retiring after 25 years.
Theresa married Allen S. Hayward, moving to East Hartford, and raising her seven children – one son and 6 daughters.
She leaves 8 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 5 great-grandsons, 5 great-granddaughters, 2 great-great-grandsons and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
She leaves her sister-in-law Diana Phaneuf, and her best friends Jean Jones and Jane Duval.
She was predeceased by her husband Allen Sr., daughter Carol, grandson Luke, sister Dorothy Zboray and brother Eugene Phaneuf.
Calling hours were held at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James Church in Manchester.
Burial was in East Cemetery.
