Clara Elise Buras was the daughter of Jean Felix Buras and Suzanne Oria (Orillac) and was born Feb. 9, 1879. When she was 17 she married Salvadore Castigliola (aka Castello) Jan. 16, 1897. Together they had 3 sweet girls, Malvena, Angelina and Lucille. In 1915 a hurricane devastated Plaquemines Parish. Although no burial information exists, it's believed that Clara either died during or shortly after the hurricane.
