Matt Christopher Benton, age 64 went on to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 29, 2024. He was born September 13, 1959 to Vivian Neufeldt and Arthur Lee Benton in Richmond, TX. 


He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy Benton.


Matt is survived by his wife Sharton Kay Benton of Flatonia, three sons; Bradley Benton (Chrystal) of Sinton, Jacob Rose Lee of Missouri, Tommy James Collins (Denise) of Flatonia, three daughters; Kim Kay Brown (Greg) of Flint, Kerrie Aline Richey (Chane) of Houston, Hannah Marie Benton of Sinton, three brothers; Tom Benton (Milana) of Rosenburg, Pat B Benton (Sherry) of Cotula, Jake Benton (Tammy) of Longview, one sister Barbara Stavinoha of Bryan, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Moulton, TX with a reception to follow at the Luther Hall.
